OmniScan

The C-scan displayed above is the actual scan of the tube shown above right. Lines are drawn from each low area in the tube to the corresponding area on the C-scan.

OmniScan

A full screen rollout display (C-scan) can be viewed with the ability to send the probe to any point on the scan with a click of the mouse. At this point the “real time” and saved waveforms can be compared for verification purposes. The center wave form is the “real time” wave form, the right wave form is the actual saved wave form for the particular location the cross hairs are on, and the left wave form is the full signal, with the area of interest highlighted in white.

OmniScan C-Scan

The above C-Scan represents a tube with severe pitting, defined by the circular indications. Other indications of wear in the tube are the yellow to red colors which depict general thinning, and is more severe in the areas of the heaviest pitting.
