Level III Services

Hi-Tech Testing employs ASNT NDT Level III personnel in the following methods:

Radiography
Ultrasonics
Magnetic Particle
Liquid Penetrant
Leak Testing
Visual / Optical

Hi-Tech has Level III personnel with extensive experience in procedure development and review, procedure qualification, Quality Program establishment and NDT consulting.

We currently act as the designated Level III of Record for over 20 different pressure vessel shops, fab shops, pipeline companies, railcar facilities, and manufacturers.

Audits

It is sometimes necessary to retain the services of an expert to ascertain whether or not quality requirements are being met. This may involve the review of procedures, certifications, report documents or radiographic images. Hi-Tech Testing has Level III personnel experienced in the performance of quality audits and rendering dispositions based upon sound judgment and firm understanding of the requirements.

Consulting

Nondestructive testing is a myriad of methods and techniques, all with advantages, limitations and defining parameters. Couple these variables with the applicable code or standard requirements and you have a confusing situation at best. Contact Hi-Tech Testing for assistance in determining the proper avenue to follow when selecting the test method and technique to ensure optimum results. We can also provide Level III guidance when NDE methods are used during forensic studies or failure analysis. We provide NDT Level III services as an outside agency for procedure development and review and QA program requirements.

Training

We have the capabilities to provide formal training meeting the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A in six methods, UT, MT, PT, RT, VT, and LT. Courses may be developed to meet specific needs when requested. We have provided training to meet AAR, NAS, AWS and other client application specific requirements. For general Level I/Level II training, clients may elect to "sit in" on a scheduled training class. We can also provide classes dedicated to your employees at our facility.
