I.C.O.N.® was developed to be used as a tool for NDE personnel and API inspectors. The data management software for plant engineering personnel is designed to ensure compliance with most API codes, OSHA regulations, and Plant Integrity Programs.
One of the key steps of our program is ensuring that NDE personnel are thoroughly trained and qualified to perform the assigned examinations.
The operator version is very user friendly and is network capable.
Our goal at HI-Tech Testing is to perform your inspections and manage the data with our software; however, this may not always be practical. I.C.O.N.® is designed to allow you to use any inspection company to perform the required examinations, and have HI-Tech manage the data along with technician training and certification.
* Inventory, maintain, and perform calculations on API-510 vessels, API-653 tanks, and API-570 piping.
* Review of data by an API inspector with certifications in API-510, 653, and 570.
* Testing of all NDE technicians to insure the best possible accuracy. Tests will be good for one year. Only technicians passing the test will be qualified to perform inspections.
* Training of Technicians in the gathering of information.
* Categorically organize Tanks, Vessels, and piping into a hierarchy layout.
* User customized Database searches can be set to run manually or automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
* Compare the data of any inspection to any previous inspection.
* Calculate Tmins, short term and long term corrosion rates, remaining life, calculated pressure, and stress.
* Built in AutoCAD® viewer for each entity inspected without a copy of AutoCAD®.
* Built in Word Processor for written reports.
* Built in Omniform® form generator for field reports.
* Include up to eight photographs for each entity inspected.
* Data may be taken with the Panametric 36DL Plus or the Krautkramer Dms2 ultrasonic gauges and downloaded.
* A visual graphical interface can be used to create a display where individual files can be accessed by clicking on hot spot areas in pictures. (I.e. like a Web Page).
* User level access limited by password.
* Uses the Microsoft Access® database.
* Network capable.
* Written and maintained by Hi-Tech Testing Service, Inc.
* Window 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP compatible.
